This training session provides a comprehensive overview of absence management within UWinsite People, equipping employees with the knowledge to navigate the system confidently and accurately. Participants will learn how to submit, edit, withdraw, and view absence requests, access their leave balances, and understand the key features of the absence management functionality. The session will also cover the new accrual method for tracking vacation and explain the rules surrounding vacation carryover to ensure employees can effectively manage their time off.

This session will help you navigate positions in UWP, understand budget implications, and master key HR processes such as identifying existing positions when looking to hire, or creating new positions when necessary. Additionally, this session will cover the delegation of authority—what it means, how to delegate effectively, and best practices to follow.
