You notice a workplace hazard, near miss, or safety concern...but do you know what to report, who to tell, and what happens next? This practical one-hour session will help University of Windsor employees understand their role in workplace safety, the importance of early reporting, and the different pathways available to raise concerns. Using campus-based examples, we’ll explore the Internal Responsibility System, the role of Joint Health and Safety Committees and campus partners, and the resources available when a hazard or incident occurs. Participants will leave knowing how and where to report concerns, and how speaking up helps prevent injuries and create a safer workplace and campus.
